“I Don’t Care” by Fall Out Boy is by far the most well known song on their album, Folie a Deux. It reached No. 21 on the Billboard’s top 100 in 2008, playing on the rock and pop radio stations. The song itself was more of a political statement towards pop culture and how the band used their impact in a catchy narcissistic way to get attention. This music video that would soon be known as legendary, and SAS Studios is always available to help turn a production into one that will have similar outcomes. We are here to help with anything you need.
The music video locations included a main stage and many of the streets of Los Angeles, roaming through them. Sas studios was available to provide the different equipment necessary for both a still stage and quick moving action shots, such as Boom Lifts. Fall Out Boy wanted the music video to be about the band as a whole picture, rather than individual characters, but to also have a joking feel, referencing both wrestling and communism. They included many different guests such as Pharrel Williams, Spencer Pratt, Ryland Blackington and former Blink-182 singer Mark Hoppus.
Although the location decisions seem to be uncomplicated for this video, we forget about the combination of lights, sounds, and quality of capturing the perfect piece! After all, time wasted is also money wasted. Sas Rentals saves you money and makes production easy.
